Being snowed in today, I added two new Odd Man In stats. The first one ranks the players who have been shot the most times in one round. The second one ranks the players who have been shot the most times in a single game.

Mr Orange, aka rexfelis, was the last man standing of OMI 2005. He beat out Mr Black (Elgin) and Mr Salmon (Sandusky) in the final three.
I was Mr Forest this game and I played horribly. I made a failed attempt to stab Mr Royal (blakey) in the back and then asked Mr Emerald (big-a) to shoot me because I thought I was in danger.

I stupidly clicked the wrong thing and started up One Shot is Not Enough, the next game of Odd Man In. I put it back in the “forming” category and everyone will be reassigned a color when the game starts.

I’d like to announce the opening of the Odd Man In Message Board. It’s so you guys can suggest features, discuss strategies, complain about problems, etc. I imported the users from PostNuke so your username and password should work.

After a taking a break for a few months, Tina and Randy over at the Tree House coffeeshop decided to bring back the open mic on February 2nd with a few changes. The super talented Johnny Miles will be hosting the show and it will run from 7:00PM – 9:00PM on Wednesdays. You can sign up in person at the counter. There is a $3 minimum, which is reasonable. I don’t like cover charges for open mics, but asking patrons to buy something is not too much to ask. The 2 hour show is short, so you’ll probably have to get there early if you want a good slot.

Sorry for the horrible headline, but this story is unbelievable. Richard Hatch, winner of the first Survivor, won a million dollars in front of 58 million viewers and didn’t report it on his 2000 tax return.
Federal prosecutors charged that Hatch, 43, failed to report his $1.01 million winnings from the CBS show, and did not report another $321,000 he was paid by a Boston radio station.
I think in a few days we’ll see another story about how it was just the radio station money and not the million dollar prize. There is no way Hatch could be that dumb.
