Did anyone hear Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s “Skin of my Yellow Country Teeth” tonight on the Office? It was playing in the background at Jim’s party.
Like I said before, I think the NBC Office is a great show even though the BBC version is the best TV show ever made. At first they tried to do it like the British version where all the characters are really subdued, but now they’ve let the characters show more realistic responses to Michael’s behavior and the result is a better show.

As some of you know one of my latest hobbies has been finding old stuff from my parents’ house whether it be old drawings or articles I did for the school paper.
I found two things the other day.
The first is a set of Wolfenstein maps I drew from the original game. The first six levels are there, although level 3 seems to be missing.

The other is a flyer for Jeff Thompson’s bid for freshman class president. He didn’t win, but it couldn’t be because of his flyer could it?

At least I got it autographed. I wonder what Jeff is up to these days. I haven’t seen him since right after high school.

I made the famous chili on Sunday and it turned out great, but I definitely ate too much of it. My stomach almost exploded. Usually I have no problem locating the chipotle chili peppers at the Westmont Plaza Superfresh, but they didn’t have them so Jeanne ran out to Genuardi’s for me.
Now that I have conquered the world of chili, I should move on to another recipe.

Wow, this is a great story. A guy spent 11 years trying to find the holy grail of toys: Colored Bubbles. He thought he succeeded a few times only to run into snags ranging from staining clothes to chemical burns. In the end, a dye scientists helped him perfect a disappearing dye and the rest will be history.

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a huge fan of the Age of Empires series by Ensemble Studios and Microsoft.
Age of Empires 3 covers the colonial period and I’m totally hooked on it. Like the others it’s a Real Time Strategy game where you collect resources, build armies, and fight on randomly generated landscapes. The main innovation is the addition of home cities where you can ship resources, units, bonuses, etc. to your colony.
Try out the demo here if you have a machine that has at least a 1.4 Ghz processor and 256MB of RAM. You’ll also need a 64MB 3D card.

Wow.
This might be the funniest thing the Family Guy ever did.
Granted, it’s old but it’s still funny.

I don’t think my favorite web comic does this too often, but they brought back their Transformeresque characters Refridgeron and Magnimus.

I was away for a few days last week and as I was catching up on a few shows via TiVo, I felt like I was watching the same show over and over. Why? Because TV this week was non-stop TO.
John Stewart called him a “dick” on the Daily Show
Conan talked to him via sattelite where “TO” apologized and said he was sorry that we are not all as great as he is. He also said he would start his own football team called The Terrell Owens Terrell Owenss’ and that they were going all the way to the Terrell Bowl.
Stephen Colbert spliced Drew Rosenhaus’s (TO’s agent) press conference with a white house press conference to see if Rosenhaus could be the next press secretary.
SNL spoofed McNabb and Wilma McNabb on Weekend Update.
Also, Monday Night Football did a hilarious fake ending to the game where McNabb threw an interception and lost.
