The White Stripes released the single, Blue Orchid, from their upcoming album Get Behind Me Satan. The song sounds like nothing they’ve ever done before, but it fits with the title of the album. It’s full of high falsettos and high pitched guitars. I listened to it about three times and liked it more every time.

A friend of mine passed this on to me last night and I loved it! I was already a fan of the White Stripes, but this definitely differs from anything they’ve done before. It reminds me a little bit of the Scissor Sisters for some reason.
I read someone else describe it as Beck meets the Darkness, but good.
