I love how ticketmaster keeps me informed about great upcoming shows (Cher, Tom Jones, etc.). Hopefully they’ll inform me when they get some competitors. The last show I went to was $18.00 per ticket including a $5 service fee. That’s almost 40% of the price! They do nothing but sell you access to shows they had no part in creating, and we’re all slaves to our Ticketmaster.
There aren’t too many philadelphians who have joined the weblog craze and fewer still who have RSS feeds. The only one I could find was Mark Gardener’s blog, More Boom in the Room. He’s the bass player from the solid Philadelphia band, The Phoenix Trap.
