We had 23 performers tonight, obliterating the previous record of 19. I think in the future I’ll just cut off the number of performers somewhere. It was really hectic and enormously crowded. Hopefully that meant good business for the Tree House.
I tried starting the open mic at about 7:45PM, but there weren’t too many people interested in playing that early.
Some performers don’t understand that if we cut it down to 2 songs, that doesn’t mean play the two longest songs you have. I might have to start enforcing a time limit on certain acts.
I sound like I’m complaining too much. It was a fun night and the crowd was huge for a while. Thanks to everyone for coming out.

or you could implement that program that deletes me from the list, like rob suggested.

I guess this means I won’t be able to play my 26 minute, ’70s-style rock opera featuring dueling synthesizers beginning at the 8 minute mark. It’s called “The Robot Gladiators of the Serengetti”. OH well, I’ll just play the full version of “Inna Gadda Da Vida” instead
Pre-Recap?
Just call it a precap.
I think a precap would have to happen before the event.
TIME LIMIT PLEASE! it would be much appreciated if i didnt have to hear long drawn out words and insane screams in songs that never seem to end. thanks 🙂
I’m going to play “Thick as a Brick” next week. the full version.

nobody has to know that it didn’t
i won’t tell
How about “Dazed and Confused” by Led Zeppelin. The version on the Album Song Remains the Same. If I do that I’ll cut my set down from 2 songs to 1
