I had accepted that they might not play here in Philly, but I at least thought they’d play within driving distance (DC, New York, Baltimore, or Boston). Just five US gigs and all of them in the northwest. Ugh. Hopefully they’ll make it back around here later.

i don’t really know much about them but i still wanna check out the band. maybe they’ll have a second prt of tour where they hit new york or philly. that would SO rock.

Burton Cummings Theatre? I’m pretty sure that’s the guy from The Guess Who of No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature fame. That would be like Barenaked Ladies going to open tour at Vince Neil Auditorium in Des Moine, Iowa or something. Do they name a theatre after any Canuck who makes it out of “the Great White North” as a musician. Is Avril Lavigne in line for the next Canadian venue? And who the hell is Doris Knight?
