Local music sheet Origivation has announced the Orgy winners, which recognize local talent. I’ve only seen three of the bands who won awards (The Blue Method, The Phoenix Trap, and K-Floor), but I’ve heard of almost all the winners.
Unlike other local awards, the voting for the Orgies was closed to the public and was instead voted on by “venue owners, bartenders, door people, musicians, booking people, webmasters and others who see and hear local music on a consistent basis and who could give an unbiased nomination.”2003 Orgy Winners

Givin’ props to Ike. I went to Borders in Bryn Mawr to see them Friday.
Parallel Universe is my favorite album of the year – local or otherwise.

Yeah, you’ve been singing their praises for a while now.
