I’ve mentioned MP3.com’s new 3 song policy for non-paying members before, but now they refuse to support your account unless you pay up. Local performer John Shaughnessy emailed their support staff after his attempt to retrieve his password was unsuccessful.
“I am having problems getting to my admin page. No 4 digit code is ever sent to me, and I’ve been trying often.
“Dear MP3.com Artist,
Thank you for contacting Artist Support, but, unfortunately due to the overwhelming requests for free artist support we may be unable to respond to your request. If you are experiencing a technical problem, please visit the System Status Report (SSR) to see if your problem is a site wide issue, which we are working to resolve.
If you are a member of the Premium Artist program, you should direct any inquiries to the email address listed in the top of your PAS admin. The alias is only for PAS artists and will ensure that you receive fast and informative answers addressing your issues. If you have any future concerns, please contact us using the email address listed in the PAS admin.
Would you like a faster response time to your e-mail? PAS e-mails have a response time of 48 hours. Joining PAS also makes you eligible for our Payback for Playback program. If this sounds good to you, take a look at the other benefits we offer at the link below.
We apologize for the inconveniences this may cause.”
Not too surprising considering their recent changes, but still annoying.
Just a reminder: Adrien Reju is playing 8:00PM tonight at the Grape Street Pub in Manayunk, PA!
