Adam and I saw Xxoxia rock the Pontiac on Cinco de Mayo. It was the first time I heard Phil’s full band and it was awesome. Their sound is very 90’sish. I’d say a cross between Tool and Our Lady Peace.
Downstairs they had a $2.50 Corona deal and when we went upstairs to see the bands they said the deal wasn’t available up there. What? So Adam and I went back downstairs and listened to Mia Johnson until a Xxoxia started, but I could see people coming downstairs to buy drinks and then walking back up. I’m sure the upstairs bartender loved that policy.
