Crazy Drunk Teen Reeks Havoc on Flying W

A 17 year old girl from Collingswood was arrested after she drove her Corsica into the pool at Flying W airport. “She was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, police said.” No word on whether her pool membership was revoked.

A 17-year-old Collingswood girl was drunk when she drove through a fence, nearly ran over a boy and plowed her car into a swimming pool at the Flying W Airport Resort, police said.

The girl – whose name was not released – was not injured.

The incident happened about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Flying W, a restaurant and motel complex on Fostertown Road.

The girl got into her 1992 Chevrolet Corsica and struck another car as she backed out of her parking space, police said.

She then put the car in drive and drove through a fence into the recreation area surrounding the pool, police said.

The car struck several chairs and nearly struck a 13-year-old Hainesport boy, who was injured as he tried to avoid the vehicle, police said.

The girl then drove her car through another fence and onto the sidewalk near the restaurant. She turned the vehicle back toward the pool area, jumped a curb, went back through the fence and drove the car into the pool, police said.
